KILLCACHE
A downloadable game for Windows
ONE BOSS. ONE BAG. GET OUT ALIVE.
KILLCACHE is a top-down pixel-art extraction shooter about hunting one monstrous boss per raid. Track it through the zone, learn the one strange rule that keeps it alive, break it apart, and carry its parts home before something worse finds you. Die, and everything you brought in stays in the zone.
WHAT YOU DO
- Hunt across 20 stages, each boss with its own rule: one only moves when unseen, one answers every bullet that hits it, one eats what you drop
- Read tracks, signs and kills to find the boss; bait it, trap it, capture it or kill it
- Extract with what you carried: by helicopter, lift, or a door that may not open twice
- Watch two bosses meet and tear into each other, then take the opening
GUNS THAT FEEL LIKE GUNS
- Over 40 guns built part by part: stocks, grips, rails, optics, lasers, muzzles
- Durability, misfeeds, stovepipes and double feeds; clean and oil your guns or they fail you
- Fire modes, recoil patterns, bullet drop and zeroing, a magazine you check by feel
- Rare anomaly-tech found only deep: a railgun, a coilgun, an arc thrower, a beam laser
A TOWN TO COME HOME TO
- Traders, a workbench, a gunsmith, a cook, a doctor, a dog who goes on raids with you
- Trophies, cages for what you captured, a stash you outgrow, insurance for the gear you can't bear to lose
- An ending, and after it the Long Hunt: ranked runs as deep as you dare
EARLY ACCESS KILLCACHE is complete from start to ending, and it is still being tuned. Buying now gets you every future update. Expect balance changes, rough edges and frequent patches; report bugs in the comments or with the in-game Report Bug button.
- Languages: English, plus Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German and French (machine-translated, being reviewed)
- Controls: keyboard and mouse, or gamepad
- Saves carry over between updates

Will KILLCACHE have multiplayer ?

I really loved the demo, the gameplay loop feels great but I do have a few suggestions:
The weapons feel very weak from sound, especially the shotgun could use a lot more love into that.
Some sprites are messy like the tower guard on the top tower in the base next to the gate.
The bosses need to be stronger, it's really hard to die in the game.
The game in general feels rather easy, even with the starting gear it lacks a lot of risk vs reward hopefully more difficulty sliders will be added or in general a tougher game.
Add something of a timer, either make something very dangerous appear that could one hit you or something that gradually feeds on your ressources, maybe armor/Weapons degrade, ammo get dissolved or something?Keep the game loop interesting by having to wager should I loot or kill the boss quickly to make it out? Or should I skip the boss entirely?
But you got a good base going, it's very fun even for a Demo and I will 100% buy it on launch keep the work up!
thank you for the feedback! actually changed and reuploaded new demo which fixed most of your feedback. do check please!
And bought early access thanks a lot can't wait for more content!
A few things that bother me though,
scrolling down the Options menu in the controls section makes the screen move off the screen I have a 2k monitor,
Also I am not sure if I can rebind buttons? Would be nice if you can
Sometimes if you throw the ball the dog gets stuck behind something and can't get it making it impossible to throw one more to the other.

Should you update the description here, maybe? I believe you said in the video you had AI make not only the art, sound, and text, but the code as well. Or was I misinterpreting the video?

Gameplay loop feels good.
Thank you for playing!
Yes I noticed that option later. A wishlist to check mid raid would still be nice though. The items that are pinned sometimes cut off when there are too many so you can only read the first ones.
Maybe being able to freely place items in the stash is good also, right now the items sort of automatically fall into the next available slot in the stash but it would be cool to be able to spread them out. (put all the ammo in one place and the rigs in another.)
Cases in the stash would be the next thing I would like.
I'm just spitting things out that I would like right now, not trying to be a critic.
I have been playing for hours now. I am having fun.
i appreciate the good feedbacks, will definitely add those. Thank you!
Also, Trickz, would you like to be in game NPC? i can utilize your PFP make you into med related NPC.
I think it was intended the other way around but I have been playing for hours yesterday with Tarkov on my second monitor 😬
I would love that! very cool 😎
Thank you sir
on it
I keep the bunker key in the safe pouch and it gets removed after every raid.
I wonder if it is possible to maybe have that stay in there or have a toggle option for that? half the times I forget to bring the key.
And is there an easy way to stack ammo that I am missing? Right now I think I have to click to put it in my bag and that will stack it. it would be cool to drag the ammo on top of another stack and have them merge.
I love what you are doing with the game!

the cat "ignores me with great skill" the realism bro.
will there be a wishlist that I can check during the raid so it's easier to know which items I require for the hideout?
Seriously fun game with a lot of potential
If you want, give me more feedbacks, im glad to hear it.
Thank you for playing & support too!
